Farnham College Announces Exciting Scholarship Opportunities for Aspiring Students

Farnham College is delighted to unveil a range of financial awards designed to support both current students and new applicants in achieving their academic and professional ambitions.

In partnership with the Farnham Educational Foundation (FEF), these scholarships and grants aim to recognise excellence and provide essential financial assistance.

The McLaughlin Scholarship offers £500 per year to high-achieving students who demonstrate clear career aspirations. This scholarship is open to current students progressing to their second or third year, as well as new applicants starting at Farnham College in September.

The FEF Grant provides between £500 and £1,500 annually to assist already enrolled students at Farnham College with expenses such as course equipment, travel, and study opportunities, ensuring they have the resources needed to reach their goals.

The John Goddard Memorial Award grants £1,500 to enable a student to undertake a project, community service, or voluntary work that might otherwise be unattainable.

Additionally, various prizes will be awarded at the end of the academic year to recognise outstanding achievement in specific subject areas and commendable attitudes to learning.

Neil Shoulder, Director of Farnham College, expressed his enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Farnham Educational Foundation to offer these scholarships.

“At Farnham College, we are committed to supporting our students in realising their aspirations, and these awards are a testament to that dedication.”

Prospective students are encouraged to apply now to be considered for the September intake.
