You will develop expertise through research, surveying and data collection, and will apply knowledge of ecosystems to environmental issues and novel approaches to conserving wildlife. You will be given fieldwork opportunities both on site and in an array of local habitats.
Tuition Fees
Home/EU* Fee for September 2022 entry: £8,000 per year

How you'll learn and be assessed
You will be continually assessed through assignments, project work, oral presentations, poster presentations, seminars, group discussions and a dissertation.
There will also be a small number of exams, for which you will be prepared.
Progression
You could work within wildlife conservation and ecology, in areas of wildlife protection, biodiversity conservation and ecosystem management.
Job roles could include wildlife conservation officer, wildlife biologist, countryside warden/park ranger or gamekeeper.
Entry requirements
Grade 4 at GCSE for English, maths and science.
Wildlife and Conservation Foundation Degree (or suitable equivalent subject) with a minimum Pass profile.
If you are a non-native English speaker, you will need an academic IELTS pass of 6 or better to attend this course.
