The Travel and Tourism industry is a dynamic sector that accounts for over 2.1 million jobs in the United Kingdom. This course gives you the skills and knowledge to work in airports, airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels or other accommodation, tourist information centres, tourist attractions, cruise line companies, holiday centres, conference or events organisations.
You will be taught by a team of lecturers with a high level of commercial knowledge and subject experience, and we have excellent links with employers with whom we work to provide routes into employment.

How you'll learn and be assessed
The course is classroom-based using a range of industry-specific resources, lectures, industry speakers and off-site visits. Assessment is by written assignments, roleplays and an online multiple-choice exam covering one unit.
Progression
Successful completion of the course will lead to progression onto Level 3 Travel and Tourism.
Entry requirements
You will need 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English language and maths.
