Photography GCSE

An introduction in to the world of photography through both analogue and digital pathways.

Learn about how cameras and the darkroom work, but also learn about digital photography, digital flash, and how to use Adobe Photoshop to edit and enhance photographs.

This course develops a wide range of skills, analytical and critical thinking and problem solving, which will be useful at University and future careers. Photography may offer a highly creative and hands-on alternative to other subjects you may be studying at A Level.

Access to photographic studios and darkrooms the option to loan digital and film cameras and portable flash equipment, plus a dedicated suite of iMacs and current Adobe software.

A least four GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including maths and English Language.
